Marine Electrical Engineering is not much different with the onshore or land applications. However, the marine or offshore requires stringent requirement with regards to safety and health, especially in emergency situation.
There are regulatory body such as DNV, BV and ABS who will be involve with the design approval until construction phase to ensure that a comprehensive and compliant vessel or offshore structures is produced.
